Logo Design Dilemma
I guess I knew from the beginning that it wasn’t going to be easy, but over all I haven’t been running into too many problems that I haven’t been able to figure out myself. Then it happened. It came time for me to come up with a creative logo to put on my stationary, cover letters, business cards and even on any online marketing ads that I might end up doing but I just couldn’t design one that I thought looked professional. Even if my photography does start out as a part time job I figure I will need something professional looking. It was when I reached the breaking point that I finally asked a few close friends and family, one of them referred me to this site http://www.pixellogo.com/. I went there and searched through the catalog. Guess what?? I found a logo that I think would work great for me. But what I think looks great might not look so good to others, so here is my question. What do you think??? I thought that would work great seens how the name of my up and coming company is Reel Photography. (My husband came up with the name of my company as kind of an inside joke. My last name use to be Reel before I married him, and he had always planned on buying me a cute little hot rod like his Z28 Camero and put a custom window sticker in the back that said “Too Reel ForYou.” So come on, tell me what you think of the logo. I would appreciate any suggestions anyone might have. If you have any experience with http://www.pixellogo.com/ I would also like to hear about that as well!!! Thanks for listening.

Hi Tiffany! I happened to run across your blog and just had to drop you a note about your logo! What an awesome “play ” on words and a truly terrific looking logo design!
Sorry I can’t give you any insight into the http://www.pixellogo.com people at this point, but that’s only because your blog is what lead me to their site. I’m going back to check them out! What I saw while peeking at your logo idea and a few others that I just had to look over already tell me I’m likely to be a very good customer of their’s for some time to come!
Thanks bunches and good luck with your photography business! I have a feeling you’re going to get lots of business with such a catchy logo. People remember designs like that a lot longer than most of us would ever imagine!

Tiffany here is my response to your Logo Dilemma.
I feel that often times, good things are not easy to come by and it will take you a lot of time, effort and patients to see this new adventure through. Never feel like you can’t ask for help from friends and family more times than not they are more than willing to help. You are taking the right steps as far as I can see in trying to find the right business name and Logo. And as far as the Logo Design from http://www.pixellogo.com I liked it but was wondering if you noticed that it was a reel for a movie not for photos???
If you want go to my site: http://thestraitscoop.wordpress.com/2008/02/26/starting-a-new-business/ and read some of the things we went through when we began our business.
Thanks,
Kerry
